EVO IOOC – EVO INTERNATIONAL OLIVE OIL CONTEST 2018
The EVO IOOC – EVO International Olive Oil Contest has originated from an idea of Dr. Antonio G. Lauro, who has been working in collaboration with VINAR SA Argentina, Oleum and Voglia di Viaggiare Eventi associations as well as under the patronage of the Municipality of Capaccio Paestum. The contest, the first to be organized in Southern Italy, has reached its third edition this year. Its goal is to promote and improve the high quality extra virgin olive oil sector.
By reaching the finals in the EVO IOOC Best International Coupage – North Hemisphere (prize awarded to the best extra virgin olive oil blend competing in the Earth’s Northern Hemisphere), EVO Pujje was awarded the EVO IOOC – EVO International Olive Oil Contest Gold Medal for both the intense fruity Rea and the soft fruity Amphitrite.
ORO D’ITALIA E ORO DEL MEDITERRANEO 2018
O.L.E.A. (Organizzazione Laboratorio Esperti Assaggiatori) is a board of important olive oil tasters organizing two major competions in the olive oil sector: L’Oro d’Italia (Italian Extra Virgin Oil Competition, now at its 9th edition) and L’Oro del Mediterraneo (7th International Competition), aimed at assessing olive oil production, consolidating the manufacturing companies’ brands as well as promoting their marketing worldwide. The Board awarded Olio Evo Pujje 4 GOLDEN DROPS out of 5 for both the strong Rea and the light Amphitrite’s blends, HONORABLE MENTION.

Now at its sixth edition, the New York International Olive Oil Competition organized by Curtis Cord, co-founder of the Olive Oil Times website, has turned into one of the most awaited events in the olive oil sector in just a few years’ time. A competition that can boast an internationally renowned Board awarding prizes the major producers all over the world consider as some of the best in the sector. As to Italy, Olio Evo Pujje got TWO GOLD AWARDS for both blends, the strong fruity Rea and the light fruity Amphitrite.
JOOP – Japan Olive Oil Prize – TOKYO 2018
ICCJ, the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Japan organized the sixth edition of this major International Competition to promote the best extra virgin olive oils in the world by awarding their manufacturers’ reliability, quality and professionalism. The Board – made up of six internationally recognized certified judges – awarded Olio Evo Pujje with TWO GOLD PRIZES for both the soft oil multicultivar Amphitrite and strong oil multicultivar Rea. An excellent result that made our brand renowed in such an important sector like olive oil’s.
LOS ANGELES INTERNATIONAL EXTRA VIRGIN OLIVE OIL COMPETITION 2018
Los Angeles Extra Virgin Olive Oil Competition is not only a fair but also the fifth most important competition worldwide in the oil sector, with a board of twenty judges coming from all over the world (USA, Italy, Argentina, France, Spain, New Zealand , Uruguay, Chile, Australia).
Evo Pujje won TWO GOLD MEDAL AWARDS, both for the soft Anfitrite and the strong Rea, bringing these two Italian oil varieties – produced in Apulia – on top of the world.

GUIDE TO EXTRAVIRGINS 2019 – SLOW FOOD
Olio Evo Pujje is among the Good, Clean, Fair and Healthy Italian Oils. After a careful analysis it was selected by the Slow Food Technical Committee and sees in the Guide the three varieties: Rea Blend Intense fruity, Amphitrite Blend Light fruity and Helios medium fruity monocultivar from Ulivi Millenari di Puglia. The Slow Food Association intends to spread the culture of Italian Extra Virgin Olive Oil.
